I was so aggravated at the pregnancy ward because of the temperature in the delivery room… In most hospitals, they have control units in each of the rooms in the pregnancy ward.

It’s no secret that when a woman gives birth, her body will have extreme reactions that aren’t always the same between one woman and the next.

It’s important to do everything you can to keep her comfortable. When giving birth, the woman’s body has already gone through something pretty traumatic, and the last thing that she wants to do is feel uncomfortable because of the temperature… That is why most women are put in their own room with their own control equipment to control the temperature of the room. However, my sister gave birth while she was visiting me. She came out to see me one more time before the baby came because she knew she’d be stretched thin. Of course, the baby decided to come early and we wound up at a random hospital. This hospital was small, however the doctors were nice, and they did a good job with the delivery. The only thing that was frustrating about the hospital was that they could not set the temperature control equipment comfortably to save their lives. They only had 1 thermostat that controlled the temperature of the entire ward, and it seemed that they did not know how to use the control unit. When my sister arrived in her room, the temperature of the room was so hot and stuffy. I’d say she was feeling the heat from her labor, but even I recognized that the room was too warm. I sent a nurse to adjust the temperature settings, but she over compensated for my request. The temperature quickly dropped about twenty degrees and the fluctuation clearly was just adding stress to my sister’s delivery. Who knew it was such a difficult request to have temperature control when you’re in labor.

Wintertide has been way too cold this year for my taste.

I’m actually not the kind of person who enjoys the Wintertide weather. When the temperature gets down below 50 degrees or so, I just get in a bad mood and start wishing for the sun. I guess that means I’m actually living in the wrong area of the country. It gets actually cold here, and the un-even temperatures are routinely in the teens and even in the single digits while in the winter. This year, it has been even colder than normal! People around here have actually been having a difficult time keeping their homes overheated enough for the weather. If you do not have superb insulation or a great oil furnace, then you have been in real trouble around here this year. I guess that the heating and cooling companies here in village have been having a difficult time keeping up with demand because homeowners have been over using their gas oil furnaces and electric oil furnaces this year, however parts have been wearing out, and therefore Heating and Air Conditioning professionals have been going out on call to get oil furnaces fixed up so people won’t be cold to death! At least most of the people around here have some sort of backup heating plan in their home just in case their oil furnace stops working. Both of us have a wood burning fireplace in our house. Of course, that has not going to get us through the whole entire winter, however if our oil furnace goes out then at least the two of us will have some source of heating to use till the two of us get it fixed.

I actually love to get a superb deal on things around the house, especially when I need to get something repaired.

I’m just 1 of those people who is pretty cheap when it comes to getting things fixed or repaired, but a lot of the time, I will leave something broken just so I do not have to spend my money to get it fixed. I guess that that has not the most responsible way to be, especially when you are a homeowner who has a lot of things around the home that need to be fixed. If you let things get away from you, then they are just going to add up and you are going to end up living in a ramshackle place! Of course, that is not what I want to have happen and so once in a while I have to call a repairman and have them come out and maintenance things for me. I still love getting superb deals on things though. A few weeks ago, I decided that I was going to have my Heating and Air Conditioning professional come out and maintenance the heating and cooling repairs that I had been putting off for a while. I guess I happened to call the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier at just the right time, because the person on the phone told me that they were running a heating and cooling tuneup special. I was blissful to find that out, because I had actually wanted to get a superb deal on getting everything fixed up. I guess once in a while the universe gives you something that you actually want! Now, my Heating and Air Conditioning plan is all tuned up and ready to go. Hopefully the weather will start heating up soon and I can try out my newly repaired

My hubby is thinking about putting an addition onto the house.

We have talked about putting extra rooms onto our condo for a while now.

But now that I am pregnant with twins, I think that time is of the essence. We certainly have to go ahead plus get the addition put on before the kids get here. We are going to need a lot of extra space after that, plus I believe by that point the two of us will not certainly want to spend any time on remodeling plus renovations. We already have the plans drawn up, plus the two of us have already met with a general company. Right now, the only holdup that the two of us are experiencing with the addition is the fact that the two of us do not certainly believe what to do about the heating plus cooling system! See, right now the two of us have a high efficiency heating plus cooling plan that takes care of our whole entire house. However, if the two of us add an additional square footage to the existing space, the two of us aren’t sure if the Heating and A/C plan is going to be able to cover it. The general company seems to think that it will be okay separate from an additional Heating and A/C system, however I certainly do not want to have 2 new babies in the condo plus then be too cold in the Winter time or too tepid in the summer. I think I am absolutely going to call a local Heating and A/C company to see what they say about the project… Maybe the two of us can have zone control heating plus cooling installed or maybe everything will be just good the way that it is.
