My boss is a pretty great guy! I’m sure that’s why he has been in business for more than 20 years, but the guy started a heating and A/C business in his garage and now the company has more than 50 odd employees and three business locations. I was lucky to get a task laboring for the guy, although he wasn’t impressed with my resume and my ability to handle commercial and residential repairs. I have been with the company for 2 years, and my boss typically finds a way to say thank you when my great friend and I go above and beyond what is expected. I had to work on the weekend and I even picked up a Friday shift that no one else wanted. My boss provided me a bonus in my paycheck that was equal to a whole morning of work. It was a huge surprise and totally unexpected. The boss threw a party for most people in the office too, and it was also completely and totally unexpected. The boss called a local catering company and the company brought food to the heating and A/C business and my great friend and I all got to eat for free, then at the end of the luncheon and party, each one of us was issued a bonus check. The order of the company said that the last quarter was the busiest 4 months that the business has ever seen and he wanted to reward most people for our hard work. Inside of my envelope was a check for $250. I’m not sure what most people received, however I was blissful with my check.

My good friend and I have a promise of 1 hour arrival times, so I knew I had plenty of time to finish my second beer before I went to the repair

I knew that I was going to be the emergency repair worker on call on Sunday plus Tuesday, although I still agreed to meet with my friends on Tuesday night so my good friend and I could watch the pigskin game. I thought my good friend and I were going to meet at Jack’s loft plus watch the game there, but the plans were changed at the really last minute, and everyone decided to meet at a bar that is close by that serves buffalo wings, and on Tuesdays when there is a pigskin game, all of the buffalo wings are only 68 cents each. That’s a definitely enjoyable deal for buffalo wings, especially since this locale has definitely enjoyable flavors. My buddies ordered around plus I decided to have a beer. I didn’t know there was anything wrong with having a single beer. Unluckyly, the server brought a second plus a second round… When I was on the second round of beers, I got a call for a commercial AC repair about seven or eight blocks away from the bar where I was hanging out. I responded to the dispatch office plus said that it would take me approximately 45 minutes. My good friend and I have a promise of 1 hour arrival times, so I knew I had plenty of time to finish my second beer before I went to the repair. It’s a good thing that it was only seven or eight blocks away, because I absolutely should not have finished the second beer before I left. I had a little trouble focusing on the road, but zero trouble with the commercial AC repair..

I have been going to an outdoor range for a long time. It’s one of the only ones that I have ever frequented because I know the owner plus he isa nice guy. He’s giving me lots of helpful advice over the years. However, things are starting to change. The customer base is starting to look quite different. I am seeing seasoned regulars who know what they’re doing beginning to be replaced by novices that make me feel absolutely nervous, and on top of that, it’s the middle of the Summer plus an indoor range is starting to look really good. We’re in the middle of a heatwave plus it’s already super boiling in this part of the South. Another one of my friends finally convinced me to go to an indoor range not too far from where I live. I must say that the cooling system was a honestly welcome relief! I wasn’t even missing much by going to an indoor range. I was cool plus comfortable, plus of course setting up targets was automated, so all I had to do was flip a switch to bring the target back instead of walking down range, which I was starting to get upset about at the outdoor range because of all the newbies. I later talked to the manager of the indoor range plus mentioned the cool plus wonderful cooling system. He beamed plus said that he used to be an Heating as well as Air Conditioning company so he knew his stuff!

My first task was working at a dollar store.

I have to say that it was an excellent starting task.

It taught me the importance of hard work, the concept of nepotism, plus that it was a nice idea to pretend to be a smoker so that you get the extra breaks. I am only half-joking. Anyway, my hours were all over the locale, but I was just grateful I was getting them, because I was saving up to buy a used vehicle. There were two things that never seemed to work in this dollar store. The bathrooms plus the cooling system! Customers complained about both of these. It really wasn’t nice for corporation for the cooling system to be so faulty. People realized honestly abruptly that it was in their best interest to get in plus out of the store as abruptly as possible so they obtained less things. That’s why it was quite stressful when the lines started building up. People would get more rude plus impatient because they were boiling plus perspiring. Then, it absolutely didn’t help that my pal and I almost always had to tell them that the bathrooms were out of order! Many of them thought that my pal and I just didn’t want anyone to use them but ourselves. So what was the reason that both the cooling system plus the bathrooms were always on the fritz? It was because the dollar store owner insisted that he could service them on his own plus didn’t want to spend currency on professional repairs! What a cheapskate!
