Because you will make that money back plus more within the energy savings you will be having from getting the portable heating and air conditioning equipment for your home! I would highly suggest doing this if you can afford to do so. It will help you out pretty well and you will be very happy you did. I have to say that I prefer older heating and air conditioning technology over modern heating and air conditioning technology.

I just can not get into things like smart thermostats, radiant heated floors and all those kind of things.

To me they just seem way too complicated for my old school brain. I really never even got into the computer and internet age which everyone live on and by today. I know just the basics for even that, which is fine with me! So what makes you think I would want to complicate my life with all this super advanced heating and air conditioning technology? Give me a window air conditioning system unit any day. Also I would take a gas furnace over any central heating and air conditioning system! Even a hot water boiler would be better than central heating and air conditioning system’s heaters in my humble opinion. Now do not get me wrong, I am not trashing all this so called “great” heating and air conditioning technology of today. I know it works for some people and I am way ok with that and will not judge anyone. Younger and pure young folks can have and handle this modern heating and air conditioning technology that its nothing and second nature. Kind of like how the way the ebb and flow of old heating and air conditioning technology was for me back in the good old days. I do miss it and try to stay as basics to that plan as I can within today heating and air conditioning technology.

I have to say that I really love new heating and air conditioning technology.

At least in my own personal and private lifetime that is! In the last 20 years alone there has been so much added to the heating and air conditioning products on the market today that 40 years ago we would have never imagined even being a possibility. Things like radiant heated floors for instance. With radiant heated floors who knew that someday you could heat your entire full home with hot water pipes underneath tile or wood floors! That is amazing heating and air conditioning technology in itself! Then when you think about things like the smart thermostat, that is even more amazing. A thermostat that can be controlled from virtually anywhere in the world. And I mean the entire planet when I say that. And who knows, maybe you could even control a smart thermostat from out in space too. Who knows on all of those theories. But a smart thermostat is also a programmable thermostat in which this means you can program it to turn off and on whenever you want at whatever temperature you want. And that is with the heating as well as the air conditioning. On top of all that, the smart thermostat will eventually be able to figure out your preferred temperatures and set itself. Isn’t that really awesome? Yeah! I think so! Heating and air conditioning technology just keeps getting better and better and I can not wait to see what will be around the corner!

I just bought one of those real cool electric fireplaces to put in my living room.

I had been looking for something that was going to make the place look nice and also act as a large space heater. The space heater part is because I wanted to start saving on some energy use from running my central heating and air conditioning system unit’s heater. And by having the electric fireplace I can now do that while not sleeping. Because the electric fireplace’s heating is very strong and covers a very large area of the downstairs of the house. Enough to be able to not need to use the central heating and air conditioning system unit’s heater! Not to mention this brand new electric fireplace has gotta be the best possible fireplace on the market today. It is way better than a gas fireplace. I know and can state this because I used to have a gas fireplace that did not do much for me other than have a pretty blue flame to look at. In terms of heating it was more or less useless. It only heated up a very small area. A portable space heater today could heat a room better than the gas fireplace did. But this electric fireplace is a whole different story all together. It is really amazing what it can do to heat the living room of my home. And also on top of that it is real great to have around to decorate when the holidays come about next year. I only wish I had this electric fireplace this year for Christmas! It would have made things extra nice!

I woke up one morning last week, and it was all I could do to pull myself out of bed.

I was sure I was running a raging fever.

My body ached, my head felt like it was too heavy to hold up, and my allergies were at their worst. I drug myself out of bed and got into a cool shower. I was hoping it would revive me, but nothing changed. That’s when I realized my body wasn’t working against me, but it was rebelling the heat in the house. While I slept, the air conditioning unit had quit working. I called the HVAC company and told them I needed an emergency repair. I had the ceiling fans on high, hoping to get some air movement. An hour later, the HVAC technician was in my house. He said he didn’t know if he could repair the air conditioner, but he may be able to get it working until we could get a new air conditioning unit in the house. My husband got home about the same time as the HVAC technician was talking. He worked as a night nurse in the emergency room. We knew our air conditioning unit was getting old, and he asked how long it would take to get the new air conditioning unit. He said if we had to order it, it could take up to a week. If they had one in the showroom, it could be the next day. He nodded and told him to let us know. We were going to buy a window air conditioner to get us through. We went to town minutes after the HVAC technician left.
