My only concern is that I’m her bookkeeper & scheduler.

My hubby was doing definitely well in her task, & now all the people wants to know why she abruptly became an Heating & A/C company. I tell them she became an Heating & A/C tech on a whim, but that isn’t the truth. She was into plumbing for years, & she realized how closely related Heating & A/C & plumbing was. She wanted to extend her services, & with Heating & A/C, she could offer clients radiant heated flooring. She had a lot of people inquiring about radiant heat when she got her Heating & A/C certification, even though I feel that fad has gone away. People were finding out that every surface touching the flooring was heated, & it was uncomfortable for all the people. He’With the immense move toward ductless Heating & A/C which doesn’t require you to use fossil fuel, she is once again using her expertise. Now, she is considering getting her certification to be an electrician. He’ll have the comprehension of the use of conduit & wiring, & still be able to tell people how to toil the Heating & A/C system. Since most tasks toil with plumbing, Heating & A/C & electrical systems, her plumbing corporation will be a full-repair company. My only concern is that I’m her bookkeeper & scheduler. I hope she has people laboring for him who are just plumbers, electricians, or Heating & A/C techs. I would hate to send someone out to toil on an Heating & A/C system that doesn’t have any comprehension of them. I told him this & she laughed. She told me that within a year, she was going to have all the people who worked for him cross trained & able to do every task.

I planned to go on a solo road trip plus was entirely looking forward to it.

It had been a while since I traveled. I had been reading for my medical exams for months plus hardly had time to eat, let alone love my favorite interest, and once I was done with the last paper, I knew the only reward was for me to go on a long road trip. I went to book a bus ticket plus was ready for my 13 hour long bus ride. I picked a endpoint I had never been to before plus was eager to find out what it held in store for me. One hour after the bus left the station, everything was perfect as I listened to tunes through my earphones. However, things began heating up plus I wondered what was going on, and before getting on this bus I had checked that they had air conditioning. This was important for me since I was traveling in summer time plus the heat can be unbearable, however little did I know that I was in for a shock. While the bus had an A/C installed, it was not functional. I had to detach my overcoat, plus even get my portable hand fan just to make myself feel cool plus comfortable. I went over the three bottles of water I had packed in two hours. It turns out that I was not the only one struggling with the heat. Other passengers started complaining about the excess heat which is why our driver stopped at the next stage. He had the A/C checked plus it was not possible to service it. My pal and I were asked to transfer into another bus with a toiling air conditioner. The bus supplier apologized for the discomfort caused plus gave all passengers free snacks plus water supplies.

We bought a house that didn’t come with a central HVAC system. However, the ductwork was intact according to the HVAC expert we hired for an inspection. We knew the house didn’t come with a central HVAC system, and we didn’t mind at all. Even if there was an old HVAC system, we would have gotten rid of it as soon as we moved in. My partner and I have bought and lived in many houses across the country. After about 5 years, we sold the property and found a new adventure. There was even a period where we bought an old van and turned it into our living quarters. Traveling across the country in that van was so amazing and we frankly never thought of selling it. Our plan was to be indoors in a house during winter, then back outside living in our van from mid-May to late October. However, one time we met this couple, and they offered us so much money to purchase the van as it was. It would have been foolish to refuse their offer since that was even beyond the investment we had made on it. We took that money, saved it, and now we got a new house with part of it. So, as I was saying, we purchased a house without a central HVAC system. The reason being we wanted to be sure we picked out the best heating and cooling system for our new home. We are living in a new area, and we did some research on the best local HVAC companies. The goal was to locate the right company to do the central HVAC system installation. We are still searching, but we hope to be done before summer.

Dwayne is not only an HVAC technician, but he’s also my big brother.

We are about 5 years apart, and I always look up to him.

Now, that’s literally and figuratively. My brother is tall and muscular. I always see how the girls stare at him as we walk together, and I can’t help but laugh. If they only knew he was gay. Anyway, Dwayne didn’t want to go to university when he graduated from high school. Instead, he convinced our parents to allow him to attend community college. He’d pursue a business course and a HVAC course. See, since he was in middle school. Dwayne always said he wanted to own a HVAC company. We know of a distant uncle who runs his own HVAC company and he lives a good life. I guess hearing that story stuck with Dwayne, so he hatched a plan to follow in the same footsteps. He’d finish college, get his HVAC certification, then he went to work for a local HVAC company for a year. According to Dwayne, there was much more he’d learn on the job than in school. So, he took the job for two years, and true to his word, he was like a sponge. Later, he resigned, and set up his own HVAC business with our dad as his business partner. I can hardly believe his plan worked, but now Dwayne is a successful HVAC business owner. Today, we had coffee in town and he was giving me advice on the best air filters to buy for my HVAC system. Honestly, I’m so happy for him.

Luck always comes in the weirdest ways.

When Thomas thought about moving away from the city, he wasn’t sure where to go.

All he knew was he was tired of the chaos. Having a remote job made it easier not to be stuck in one area. Now, he had the freedom to live and work anywhere as long as he had electricity and internet connection. Thomas began hiking to different areas, exploring small towns, and speaking with people about his plans. It seems he put it out into the universe, and he got his answer. One day, he was scrolling on social media while taking a break from work when a friend sent him a DM. There was a cottage for sale that came with 5 acres of land. The area wasn’t too remote, however the cottage was a bit old. A few months later, Thomas was the new owner of the cottage and was busy trying to figure out the HVAC situation. The previous owners never set up any AC in the cottage. All they had was a wood stove that kept the space warm during winter. Since Thomas wanted this to be his home, he had to sort out the HVAC system. He consulted with a local HVAC expert about installing a HVAC system in his new home. The guy informed Thomas this would include adding ductwork to the space. The better and more affordable option was to install a pair of ductless AC systems to his cottage. Thomas never argued and he is now glad to be enjoying excellent air conditioning during his first summer living in the cottage.
