I was so excited to go out to our house last weekand spend a few days there with just my hubby.
It was going to be one of the first affectionate getaways that we had had in awhile.
It was quite cold, and there was easily snow for the first time this year when we started our trip. My pal and I were both certainly excited, and I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed the drive. When we arrived at the cabin, we were disappointed to find that it was cold in there. The boiler was not even running. My hubby went to the house about two days earlier to turn the water back on and turn the boiler on as well. He said that it was up to sixty degrees in there before he left, so the boiler was apparently laboring then. He tried to turn the boiler back on after we walked into a certainly frigid cabin, however it would not turn on. He spent a few hours calling people that he thought would know something about boilers and also looking up videos online about what may have been wrong with it. My pal and I spent half a day there trying to repair it with no avail. My hubby felt so terrible that he decided to get us a hotel room for a few afternoons, so we could at least have some time away. My pal and I ended up having to call an Heating as well as A/C corporation to come out and repair the boiler in our cabin, however even though our trip did not go as planned, I am so blissful that we got to care about ourselves at least a little bit.
