My thermostat has been acting up lately.

I have an old dial thermostat and it has been having issues with the temperature dial.

I am not sure, but I am thinking it may be time for a brand new thermostat. I am thinking that I am just going to get with the modern heating and air conditioning technology and buy a brand new and completely up to date smart thermostat. From what I know, smart thermostats have a lot of benefits to them. Including saving energy which in turn will save money on the monthly electric bills. By saving money on my electric bills that means more money in the bank for me from my hand worked and hard earned cash. Also with a smart thermostat I know I can really have more control over my central heating and air conditioning system. I will be able to control the thermostat from either an app on my cell phone or even an app on my laptop or desktop computer. It really will change the game on the thermostat for my central heating and air conditioning system. I will be very happy with it I am sure. Also, even if I am not happy with it it can still work out good because the smart thermostat does not cost any more than 40 bucks. So if I do not like it I can easily get rid of it and not worry about wasting tons of money in the process just trying it out. I really think I am going to get this done and get the smart thermostat within the next few weeks!

My local heating and air conditioning company that I deal with for all of my heat and a/c needs has a very unique thing they just started.

They are beginning a heating and air conditioning credit card that is valid for only their HVAC company. It gives many benefits to loyal customers who are lucky enough to be able to apply and get approved. Because you can buy very expensive heat and a/c units on credit and pay them off over a set number of years. It is kind of like an HVAC payment plan, but a little better. I applied for this heating and air conditioning credit card. And now I got approved as of today. My plan is to buy a whole home air purification system with it. I have been wanting and needing a whole home air purification system but I simply could not afford one. So now with this new heating and air conditioning credit card I can finally invest in one and be able to pay it off over a number of years. Otherwise there would be no way in this whole wide world where I could afford to get a whole home air purification system. I know too that it could come in handy someday if I ever needed to invest in a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system and have paid off a good amount of the whole home air purification system at that time. It will really be a great thing. I totally commend the heating and air conditioning company for coming up with the idea for this HVAC credit card!

If you are looking for a good fireplace and not having the money to pay to have one built into your home, the best choice would be an electric fireplace.

An electric fireplace is nothing like a regular fireplace, however it gives off the same ambiance and feel all while acting as a very large space heater at the same time.

Also electric fireplaces are not too pricey. You will spend a little over one thousand dollars for a decent one, and it is something you can actually install yourself without the need to hire a fireplace professional to do it. That is the other bonus about having an electric fireplace. I myself have now had an electric fireplace for about 7 years now and it has been doing me and my family real good. At the holiday season around Christmas it is something that can be decorated just like a real authentic fireplace. If you were to go the other fake fireplace route you would not be able to hang anything near or on it because we would be talking about a gas fireplace. Those are not as good as electric fireplaces anyhow. Also, with the electric fireplace acting as a very large space heater in addition, we have been having great luck in saving money on our monthly electric bills as well. We give the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater a break when it is cold in the day time or waking hours and use the electric fireplace. It works well to really heat up the living room area of our home. I can not say enough good things about the electric fireplace!

I could not believe my eyes when I pulled out my old portable space heater and found out that it still actually works! This portable space heater is nothing like the kind of portable space heater you are thinking of. You could not walk into any store and buy a portable space heater like this today because they no longer exist. This is the portable space heater of the past. The very first kind that they had way back when. We are talking 40 and years ago! It was made of all metal and could literally only heat a small space like a bathroom or a portion of a room. Not like today’s portable space heaters which are made of heat resistant plastic and have so much power that they can heat an entire room within a matter of minutes. And sometimes they even get too hot! But this vintage portable space heater is way different than that. I decided to pull it out and see if it would work so I could use it in my bathroom like in the olden days when I was a kid growing up. And it looks like I actually can. This saves me a ton of money of having to invest in radiant heated floors like I was originally thinking of until I found this old portable space heater still working good as it did back when I was a kid. It kind of makes me wonder if these ancient portable space heaters are worth anything and if you can even buy them used on ebay or somewhere like that on the internet.

The wonderful and most interesting world of heating and air conditioning has always been changing year by year.

If you trace it back to the very beginning of time, heating and air conditioning was always on the rise.

Even when there was nothing but dry ice in a tub for a form of the most earliest air conditioning, all the way to the invention of the first hot water boiler which created the send form of heating. Of course the very first form of heating goes all the way back to the caveman days with fire. Which in turn could actually be an early fireplace. Then as we move on through time the creation of the very first furnace, the window air conditioning system unit and then of course, the major breakthrough in all heating and cooling technology history. Which that was the invention of the central heating and air conditioning system unit. Today, mostly every home in the country is heat and cooled by the power of central heating and air conditioning systems. It could be commercial heating and air conditioning systems for big buildings and businesses, and then residential heating and air conditioning systems for people’s homes. If you really trace back the roots of HVAC all together, you will find that it has been quite an amazing journey all together and that there is a lot more to come as the future moves on forward. Heating and air conditioning technology is always changing and it never will stop changing I am pretty sure.
