HVAC Tips for All

I don’t think you will ever hear my name when it comes to those who make really sound decisions.

In fact, I can really be pretty stupid some of the time.

But this time I actually made a really good call when it came to the HVAC equipment. We are part of the HVAC service plan offered by our HVAC company here locally. It’s a great program that ensures HVAC equipment is serviced and maintained each season by an HVAC technician. And there are other things like coupons for services. But if there was to be an HVAC breakdown, all I’d have to pay for would be the cost of the parts. I guess this may have been in the back of my mind when I came home to no air conditioning one day this past summer. I walked in after work and it was immediately apparent there was no HVAC cooling going on. The thermostat had power and there were no tripped breakers. I know the HVAC equipment itself was running. But there was no cooling coming from the air ducts. I thought it might be a situation where it was a refrigerant recharge. But then I kind of stopped myself because I know that there was some issue with the sort of refrigerants that can be purchased in the US these days. But I talked myself into looking online to see if I could diagnose the problem and fix it myself. It didn’t take 2 minutes before I realized it would be stupid for me to do anything but pick up the phone and call an HVAC professional. And that’s exactly what I did and that’s exactly why my HVAC equipment is running just fine now.

I may just hit the beach in an hour or so and chill with my friends.

I think I will have to buy a new washable HEPA filter when I go to the local contractor later today. Mine is pretty much shot and I need to replace it with a new one hopefully today. I have to write for about one more hour and then I am all caught up with my heating and cooling program writing tasks and can go out and enjoy the day a bit. My bandmate just told myself and others that he is going out of the city today, so it looks like we won’t be playing music later. Unless I get the nerve to play outside this local contractor by myself, which I recognize is possible, however a bit on the spine-chilling side. I play drums and prefer to have a guitar with me when I sing because it entirely fills in the gaps. I feel as though I could get the cooling rep to come join me as he also plays guitar, however Danny and I have an amazing chemistry together when we play. I may just hit the beach in an hour or so and chill with my friends. The heating and air conditioning supplier where I work is closed today, so it is going to be an easy day for myself and others as I won’t have to do any HVAC duct cleaning tasks till next week when they are open again. I prefer days like this because I feel no pressure to perform in front of audiences. However, after doing stand up comedy for so many years, nothing entirely rattles my nerves when it comes to doing shows. Have a good day and don’t forget to feed your dreams.

When I know I need to do a couple of things, and one of them is to get quiet, to get entirely quiet.

I do this by listening to some native American flute music and calming down the thoughts. I also tell myself the old Cali saying that most people don’t even know of the meaning anymore; It’s All Good. To me, it’s all good means that everything that happens is good and just take it in stride. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was playing volleyball with a heating and air conditioning tech in Cali in 1994, and it entirely struck a chord in my heart. She would say it when some disappointing play happened on our side and it made me think about how I reacted to “bad” things in my life. That heating and air conditioning specialist impacted my life a lot more than she even knows just by three words she said almost 30 years ago. So if you feel as though your words don’t mean anything, maybe you should think again, because they do impact others. This heating and cooling supplier used to complain all of the time until one day I told him how negative he was and how it wasn’t fun to be around him. He told me that nobody had ever said anything to him about it, and the next day he stopped all of the negativity. Your words do mean a lot, be careful with them. I have issues with heating and air conditioning unit repairs all of the time however there is one thing I say that helps; It’s all good!

Have you ever had a relationship end that you entirely didn’t want to end? That happened to me with a lovely (or so I thought) Russian woman over a year ago, and I still feel like something inside me has died.

I just feel as if I don’t care anymore about anything, and I know it isn’t a healthy way to be. I was only with her for a few months and then she vanished. I discovered about more than one or two months later that she was married with a kid and was going through a temporary separation when I met her. My heating and air conditioning repair work was in jeopardy last year after she and I broke up, because I was too depressed to make it to work. I think I missed many months of work before finally getting the energy to go back in. It is amazing that the heating and air conditioning pro who runs the heating and cooling supplier shop even let me come back to work. I recognize that he liked the way I worked and wanted to keep me, even though I don’t even know if I would have the gumption to keep someone who missed so much work. I am a heating and air conditioning tech, and have been for a long time, ever since my mom taught me the ropes when she ran her own heating and air conditioning business. I also lost my pops a few months before the Russian affair, so I was going through a lot of loss last year. On top of that, I lost all of my savings from my heating and cooling repair job from too many irrational financial choices. But, one day I am going to make something out of my life I swear! Life life life, what would I do without ya.

I should be able to knock out these numerous heating and air conditioning articles in about one more hour max, and then I am going to go to the beach for some ball and whatnot.

I think we will jam later by the big church around sunset, so at least that part of my day should be a fun time.

Last time all of us jammed there around 7pm, some miserable church guy came out and yelled at us. He wasn’t a pastor or anything, just a grumpy old geezer who worked there each day. Apparently, he doesn’t prefer the sound of nice music outside of the church. My heating and air conditioning rep told myself and others that the guy is just miserable all of the time, and I thought going to church would be a good thing for him. The local contractor near the church likes us playing there so we have kind of a tug-of-war going on with the people in that area regarding our jam sessions. I work at the heating corp each week and have seen that old guy once or twice, and both times he came in to buy a smart temperature control and left in a miserable huff. He needs a little music therapy and a cold beer to calm him down, sheesh. I don’t want to be like that when I get old, and if I am then there is no need to go on. So, the local business near my flat is hiring next week and I think I am going to meet up with him to see if he has any heating and air conditioning work that needs to be done. I am pretty good at that!
