Imagine arriving house on a overheated Summer afternoon. You relax on your sofa and like the cool air being circulated inside by your AC. Your A/C does not turn on and off as it normally does. Instead, your A/C runs continuously. The indoor air temperature does not seem to be increasing despite the thermostat readings being low. Your energy bills are also skyrocketing. There’s unquestionably something wrong, but you don’t suppose why your a/c won’t stop. Why does this happen? Many homeowners suffer from A/C continuously running. ACs can experience this for a variety of reasons. Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals can solve the problem, but. Dirt and debris may cover the evaporator coil of an A/C that hasn’t been ran tests on for a long time. Even if you recently ran tests on the evaporator coil, it may be covered with dirt. It can happen if it’s near a busy eating establishment home office where it collects a lot of grime. Dirt or debris may clog your air filter. Consequently, your a/c may have to run longer if the flow of air is restricted. A faulty thermostat may also be to blame for your a/c always running. The A/C may not suppose how to turn off when the ideal temperature is reached when your thermostat is faulty. Check if the indoor temperature is below the set point to see if your thermostat is faulty. Your thermostat may need to be upgraded if that is the case. A leaky duct can also make the A/C run always. Your building’s ductwork can leak if it’s old. Duct leaks may cause indoor cool air to escape. Your A/C will keep running if this cool air keeps escaping through the leaks.

Usually, I like to have our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system ran tests on in October because it’s less stressful trying to get an appointment with the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. Because the weather begins to drop in October, it causes other homeowners to remember that it’s time to have their Heating, Ventilation & A/C system ran tests on and there’s next to no availability to be seen. I find that if I make a conscious effort to have our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system ran tests on in October, I can avoid the stress and hassle. This year but, I made the mistake of waiting too long and I had no choice but to fight the crowd. On October first, I realized the mistake that I made and I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer immediately. The receptionist told myself and others that their first available appointment was many weeks out unless I wanted to book something while I was in the middle of the week. I work a full time job that doesn’t allow myself and others to be house for an Heating, Ventilation & A/C appointment, so that wasn’t an option. Before I hung up, the receptionist let myself and others in on a dealer secret that explained a lot. According to her, their annual Heating, Ventilation & A/C club members acquired priority scheduling and they had large chunks of time available for those clients. If I wanted to book a quicker appointment, I could join the Heating, Ventilation & A/C club. The annual fee wasn’t much more than what it was costing myself and others for our biannual Heating, Ventilation & A/C tune ups, so it was a no brainer. I joined the club over the PC and was able to get an appointment for the following week. I can’t suppose I waited that long to join.

The best part about our house and arguably most people else’s favorite aspect is the basement.

I had the basement completely finished off a year ago and it’s been the most used room in our house.

I do a lot of entertaining down there for major events and games and it’s become the spot to be. While I think the space is amazing and there’s a lot of fantastic things to appreciate about it, the reason it’s the most used space is because it is temperature controlled. One of the largest things I wanted in our finished basement was a source of heat and air because I knew it would never be used without it. I considered installing a ductless system, even though I decided to extend our central Heating, Ventilation & A/C system with a hour zone. My company was able to extend the existing ductwork into the basement and set up the hour zone for me. Having central heat and air in our basement keeps the entire space at a comfortable temperature regularly. I never have to worry about the temperature down there because the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system is always running. If I would have installed the ductless system, I would have needed to turn the system on every time I wanted to use the space and that wasn’t practical for me. I knew I wouldn’t use the basement if I needed to wait for the temperature to acweather conditions. Installing the central Heating, Ventilation & A/C system to the basement was one of the best decisions I made while I was in the renovation.

When the A/C went out at our cabin last week, the two of us did everything the two of us could to keep what little cool air the two of us had left inside.

• Nobody dared to open a window or door because they feared that the cool air would escape.

Eventually, the cool air became sizzling plus the two of us were forced to acknowledge the issue. The people I was with and I called the Heating and A/C company plus requested service, which they were blissful to do. Unluckyly, the Heating and A/C company told us that our A/C method needed a particular part, but it wasn’t in stock. It would take a week to be delivered to the shop, which meant that we’d be separate from A/C for an entire week. This was devastating news because the two of us knew the two of us couldn’t survive in our cabin separate from AC. The temperature was reaching above ninety degrees every day plus the humidity was thick. Thankfully, the two of us had a family that was able to cabin us for the week while the two of us didn’t have AC. It was a long plus uncomfortable week living in someone else’s house, but the two of us didn’t have another choice. When a week passed by, the two of us called the Heating and A/C company about having our A/C method fixed. To our surprise, the part the two of us needed still wasn’t in yet plus they predicted that we’d need another whole week! Thankfully, our family was gracious enough to host us for a hour week. By the end of the hour week, the two of us were blissful when the Heating and A/C company called to tell us that the part had been delivered plus they were ready to install it.

I stood in the grocery store freezer section, hoping for some cool air, when my sister came in.

She asked me if I was grocery shopping or window shopping? After closing the freezer door, I told her my air conditioning had quit working, and I was just looking for some cool air wherever I could get it.

Since she was there and hadn’t started shopping yet, I suggested we go out for lunch together. There was a small café around the corner that I knew had excellent air conditioning, and that’s where we headed. My sister told me that had she known I didn’t have air conditioning, we could have gone to her house and relaxed by the pool for a while. She said she could put grocery shopping off for a couple more days. She asked if I wanted to stay with her for a couple days until the HVAC technician came to repair my air conditioning unit? The HVAC company had my phone number, and they said they would call when they had an HVAC technician available to come to my house. I considered her invitation and accepted it. We hopped in her car and drove the short distance to my house so I could get a change of clothes, and headed to her house. I forgot how much fun it was to sit around the pool and talk to my sister. We acted like teenagers for the next two days until I received the call from the HVAC company. I honestly forgot how much I miss my sister, and knew I was going to visit her more often, even after my air conditioning was working again.
