A few years back our local heating and air conditioning specialist had mentioned to me about getting our air duct cleaned every 6 months to avoid issues with our heating and air conditioning plan and the air quality in our home, however well, I did not listen or take them seriously, then I had thought they were just trying to rack in more money or make some kind of a commission deal so I did not even bother to play into that.

Well, I have to say that I was wrong and that our heating and air conditioning specialist from our local heat and a/c supplier had a point and was trying to help. My Heating and Air Conditioning unit recently broke down from being overworked and in turn I needed a new motor. It came to be that the whole reason for the breakdown of my central heating and air conditioning plan was because our air duct was absolutely dirty! This is what made it work overtime, but so I was now convinced that I needed to get our air duct cleaned every 6 months as proposed by the heating and air conditioning specialist from the local heating and cooling corporation. So I got it cleaned right then and there, but and now from this point on I will always have the air duct of our central heating and air conditioning plan cleaned every 6 months no matter what the case, even if I suppose I do not need it, I will do it anyway just to be on the safe side of things.

I could not believe it when I realized today that the dial thermostat I have that runs my central heating and air conditioning system is over 30 years old! And it is still working just as good today as when I bought it over 3 decades ago.

This is the sign of good craftsmanship and it also shows that a dial thermostat may in fact be the best thermostat around.

In my opinion I would say forget about all these stupid advanced forms of HVAC technology that are all so complicated to older folks like me. Things like smart thermostats and even the standard digital thermostats. They may look and be futuristic or modern or even look cool to young folks. But they would never last 30 years! As a matter of fact from what I know, both smart thermostats and the standard digital thermostats have a lifespan of around 10 years if you are lucky. Because most die on you within 5 years and then it is time to buy a new one. With this old dial thermostat I bet it will probably last me the rest of my life and then still be alive even after I am long gone! That is what I honestly feel just based on the fact that it has lasted me over 30 years and still going just as strong today as it was back then. It is really unbelievable when you think about it. I am just so glad that I made the choice to get this dial thermostat back then. I would not have had it any other way.

Portable air conditioning systems have sure come a long way in the last 10 to 15 years that is for sure! I would really even think about using a portable air conditioning system of today instead of my central heating and air conditioning system’s cooling in some cases.

I was thinking today about my old portable air conditioning system. It was not as powerful as the one I have now. It really got me thinking double about how today’s heating and air conditioning technology has advanced so high that a portable air conditioning system can be so powerful as it is now in the first place. My old portable air conditioning system was able to only cool a small room or a small space of a large room. While my portable air conditioning system that is brand new and up to date can cool an entire large room in a matter of about 10 minutes. It is really mind blowing when you think about it. Portable air conditioning systems have sure come a long way in the last 10 to 15 years that is for sure! I would really even think about using a portable air conditioning system of today instead of my central heating and air conditioning system’s cooling in some cases. It would all depend on the temperatures of the day. If it was well over one hundred degrees I would simply just have to use my central heating and air conditioning system’s cooling. But if it was say in the 80 or 90 degree range, I would probably be able to get away with using my portable air conditioning system for the day and then turn on the central heating and air conditioning system’s cooling at night when I lay down to go to sleep. HVAC technology is really the greatest today!

When you call the local heating and air conditioning company and they send out their most certified heating and air conditioning specialists, you’re best bet is to hope for a happy one! When you have a happy heating and air conditioning specialist who is all good with their job itself, their rate of pay and the heating and air conditioning company they work for you will always have a quality HVAC home service experience.

Otherwise if you have a not so happy heating and air conditioning worker, you will end up having a not so good experience with your heating and air conditioning home services.

I have experienced both. And believe me there is a huge difference! Now do not get me wrong, if you have an unhappy heat and a/c specialist your HVAC work will still get done properly and all because they need their job and do not want to get fired. But it will be a very unpleasant experience because they will always give you dirty looks if you are anywhere near them while working on your central heating and air conditioning system unit. They will also take their time and try to rack up the highest possible heating and air conditioning bill. But when you have a happy heating and air conditioning specialist it is the complete reverse of it all. So my point here is to just hope for a happy heating and air conditioning specialist whenever you need to call anywhere for heating and cooling home services.

I do not know what it is about my central heating and air conditioning system, but birds always like to sit on it and take a dump on it in the spring time months of the year. I mean, I do know that birds do this kind of thing all of the time. But why not on my car or my windows? They always seem to find comfort in going to the bathroom on my central heating and air conditioning system unit! I do not like it one bit because I have to then go outside with the water hose and power wash it off! Unless of course we have some kind of rain. Then I can go head and just let the wild rain do all the power washing of my central heating and air conditioning system after the birds take their dumps on it! I had thought about possibly going out and buying a tarp for my central heating and air conditioning system so they can just do their thing on that and then I can just throw it in the wash and have a nice easy cleaning. Because having to get the water hose and drag it all the way down to where my central heating and air conditioning system is can be a real pain in the rear a lot of the time. It is a lot of work all together. But whatever the case, this is the facts and this is what is going on with my central heating and air conditioning system and the lovely birds.
