My sister is a realtor in the region. Unfortunately, she wasn’t a realtor when we bought this house. That was our first time buying a home and we ended up getting saddled with inheriting the HVAC equipment. That wasn’t the only thing that we had to deal with either. But we thought we were getting a good price. Maybe we didn’t. It’s been such a long time ago that it surely doesn’t matter now. However, it’s interesting how the HVAC equipment sort of was the tipping point for selling our home. The first HVAC unit that we inherited lasted about 3 or 4 more years before we had to replace it with new residential HVAC. While we wanted the best HVAC unit we could afford, we also wanted to be sure that it was reliable. We invested in HVAC maintenance which was key to the longevity of that second set of HVAC equipment we had in this house. But after 25 years of flawless, quality heating and air, the HVAC unit was winding down. That’s when my sister suggested that since we were upgrading the HVAC unit, we should do something with the kitchen and get it on the market. We followed her advice and were able to cash in at the peak of the prices in this region. Having the latest in residential HVAC and HVAC technology sure didn’t hurt. In fact, I’m of the belief that the new HVAC equipment and all the HVAC technology was a bigger selling point than the newly appointed kitchen.

I was enjoying a television show last week, where people came in plus cleaned other people’s homes, but the lake house this farmer was living in was an old trailer that was inside a barn; He wanted to ask his girlfriend to marry him, but it embarrassed him to even bring her home.

The inside of his lake house smelled of horses plus manure, plus he didn’t have a working shower.

The people who came to help him out sent him out to get primped plus polished while they fixed his home. They didn’t just maintenance his home, but they brought in multiple shipping bucket homes plus set them up side by side, once they completed the setting up of the shipping bucket homes, he had multiple study rooms, a full-sized family room, a full bathroom with a shower plus walk-in tub, plus a small sitting room. They had a front porch plus a flower garden going up the walkway, however i was sure it had taken longer than what they made it seem, but the shipping bucket lake house was lovely. I had a hard time believing it was honestly multiple shipping containers, when our spouse asked what I was enjoying, i told him about the shipping bucket homes. He told myself and others he had been enjoying a video online, plus they were setting up a shipping bucket home. He said when both of us retired, both of us could downsize plus live in one. I wasn’t sure our spouse would be cheerful living in such a confined area. He had multiple study rooms plus multiple floors to prowl through now, plus he still acted love a caged lion! A shipping bucket lake house would never be big enough for him.

I had a hard time believing it was really more than one shipping containers; When my spouse asked what I was watching, i told him about the shipping bag homes. He told me he had been watching a video online, & they were setting up a shipping bag home. He said when we retired, we could downsize & live in 1. I wasn’t sure my spouse would be gleeful living in such a confined area. He had more than two family rooms & more than one floors to prowl through now, & he still acted prefer a caged lion; A shipping bag apartment would never be large enough for him.

My guys care about to play hockey outside on the blacktop, and they certainly like practicing their slapshots & frequently they go wide, but i have gotten a lot of things destructiond due to hockey pucks! My dove feeders never seem to last. The side of my new home has a bunch of dents in it from the pucks going too far past the net. My garage door has sustained the most destruction. I have a gorgeous, big door with lots of windows; At first I was replacing the windows with fresh 1s every time the body shattered 1. It got to be messy, valuable & time consuming. I couldn’t ban them from the front driveway though. It was too nice being able to see them & know that they were safe. They also care about playing hockey; So I thought about doing plastic windows but they looked horrible. I then found a certainly good solution. There are all types of window films out there! You can do colored films to match the outside of your house. You can do sun control window films to save energy. I got a shatterproof window film & put it on all my garage 1s, now you certainly need to put your back into smashing those windows, but even if the glass breaks, it spiderwebs & does not shatter. So I just have a cracked window to remove rather than pick up a ton of broken glass. The windows are stronger & less likely to break as well. Anytime my sons break a window, the new 1 gets that protective window film on it.

For as long as I can remember it’s always been with my favorite things to take something old and turn it new again. I have not bought any heating and AC units in 10 years now. This is because I have found that the cheaper and more fun way to do things is just to buy a broken heater and air conditioner and then repair it. Once it’s repaired I can use it like I would use any other Heating and a/c system. And the heating system is my most recent project. I found this space heater in the garbage, and I can see why they were throwing it away. The space heater was in rough condition. I was determined to repair it though, and the first step was to see if I can get it to come on. It took me many hours of tinkering with it and doing research on what could be wrong with it but I did eventually figure it out successfully and got the space heater to turn on. After working on a stop for a couple weeks it was finally repaired and I was able to start using it for my home. It was wonderful being able to take a space heater that was broken and make it like new again, and it was definitely much more cost-effective too. Now I’m doing this all the time as a side hobby of mine and give him my family and friends free heating and cooling systems.
