Okay, so we’ve endured the initial wave of yellow and the leaves are turning that perfect sort of green that means spring.

There is hoop on the TV and the air conditioning is actually kicking on a bit.

I’m always a bit surprised when the HVAC cooling clicks on for the first few times in spring. That’s mostly because where I live, that’s mid March. So now’s the time of year when the air conditioning is just getting tuned up. Because let me tell you, by early June, it’s a steamer around here. The level of heat and humidity during the summer requires HVAC cooling night and day to manage. I’m a native of this region so I sort of have a good rhythm when it comes to the heat and heat season. But it never hurts to get a jump on the prep. I start with a phone call to the HVAC company. They come out to do the air conditioning tune-up early each spring. With the heat pump running so much, it’s imperative that I make sure that it’s running optimally. HVAC maintenance does that. The air conditioning tune-up prepares the heat pump for the coming load for sure. But it’s also helping the HVAC equipment run at its most efficient as well. That’s big time when you consider the costs that go into air conditioning a home in this region. From there, it’s all about the house and making sure there is consistent thermostat discipline throughout the heat season. Hard to believe but now is the time to get on with it as spring is sprung.

All this HVAC cooling is a welcome feeling again

I really never realized just how much I loved where I was from. When I was growing up, all I could think of was getting on out into that big, exciting world outside of my small town. Plus, I was tired of the heat and all the air conditioning. I wanted to go places where it snowed and they had to use things like a gas furnace in order to stay warm in the winter. Well, like I’ve heard all my life, be careful or what you wish for. I sure got exactly what I asked for. The college I ended up attending was up north. This was of course sacrilege to my southern parents who both went to the old southern schools. But my doom room didn’t have an air conditioner. We had radiant heating because that’s all we needed during the school year. I met a girl, got a job and 2 decades flew past with me learning to live with winters and all that gas furnace HVAC heating. But, I’m finally home again. The kids are off to college and my wife agreed to a trade off. We’d now spend our time in the south. We were trading all that HVAC heating for the air conditioning I used to despise. Well let me tell you, I could not have been more happy to make that trade the close I got to fifty. I just couldn’t handle the cold any longer. All this HVAC cooling is a welcome feeling again. While I could do with a bit less heat and humidity during the worst of summer, I’m still much happier back home in the HVAC cooling.

I love being in my house.

There are times when I feel like I should really be out in the world more.

But dang, I get plenty of the every single day inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. So when it’s time for me time, I tend to stick to home. For ages, my wife has been such a gym rat. She’s so fit and also a competitive athlete for all these years as well. While I’m not a total out of shape loser, I’m not gym rat either. I play some sports and I make sure to get a couple of walks in each day. That does enough for me. But my wife had kept trying to get me out of the air conditioning of home and off to the gym with her. Well now, she sort of got her wish. I’m not working out with her almost as often as she works out. But I’m not going to the gym. I never really liked that gym anyway. The HVAC cooling was always maxed out and it still was thick and hot in there. My wife loves to sweat where I don’t mind it but I don’t feel the need to wear everyone else’s because the HVAC equipment can’t keep up. When the pandemic hit, there was no more gym for my wife. So of course, she started finding used exercise stuff to put a home gym in the basement. I did my part by scheduling the HVAC professionals to add a ductless heat pump. If I’m going to have a home gym, then it’s going to have the quality heating and air I require.

It’s no surprise that we never were able to get the sort of clean, fresh scent in our house that we really were going for.

Shoot, we would have settled for anything not repulsive.

With the whole home air purifier, we’ve actually solved the problem instead spending more years simply attempting to mask the smell. Actually, masking the smell fails was what finally sent us to the indoor experts. The HVAC company didn’t disappoint either. For ages, my wife and I have tried to enjoy our home like most people do. And almost perfectly, we’ve been able to accomplish that feat. Our house is great and we have the latest when it comes to residential HVAC. But the smell of the indoor air was just the worst. It doesn’t help that we have 4 boys and two dogs. That’s a veritable stink machine right there. Still, we were stymied when it came to any sort of answer as it pertained to the indoor air quality. It didn’t matter how many or how long they were going, the plug ins just really didn’t work. There would be a burst of perfumed air but then once the heating and cooling equipment switched on, we were right back to putrid air. But the HVAC professionals were able to make short work of our problem. I don’t think they were even in our house more than 90 minutes to install the whole home air purifier inside the HVAC equipment. It didn’t take even a full day before our house smelled like the best meadow I ever picniced in. Whole house air purification was certainly the answer for us.

When I was looking for someone to do some window tinting for me, I ran across the best automotive customization shop! Apparently, this particular automotive customization shop is the best one in this part of the state.

I don’t know how or why we had never heard of this particular place before, but it actually wasn’t even far from our house.

Perhaps the reason why we had never heard of the automotive customization shop was because we had never really had a reason to call one before. When I looked up custom car shops near me, there were a lot of them that came up in the search. I don’t know why I ended up calling the place that I did. But now that they have done my window tinting job for me, I am actually really glad that I used them for my job. The custom window tinting job that they did for me ended up looking like a million bucks. The car looks so much better than it did and these guys were super nice and happy for the opportunity to have some work and to show off their skills. While they were at it, I ended up telling them to do some air suspension installs and exhaust modifications for us too. I was surprised when they told me what the cost was going to be. I thought that it would cost much more than it actually did. Luckily for me, I found the best automotive customization shop in the city! I’m so glad that I ended up choosing them.
